The end of February has a few department changes happening. Some departments are leaving, some are returning, and a new department is joining the show. We also wanted to recap some of the top moments from February episodes.

As we reported last week, the most important news is that On Patrol: Live is renewed for another year.

New Departments

The Brookford Police Department will join On Patrol: Live starting with the February 24th episode. The Brookford Police Department is a small department in North Carolina.

On Patrol: Live crews started riding with Brookford officers Tuesday and Wednesday. Brookford officers, including the chief, patrolled areas along N.C. 127 and South Center Street. When Chief William Armstrong was asked about their involvement, “We’re excited for little Brookford,” Armstrong said. “It’s a good opportunity for us.”

Returning Departments

The Toledo Police Department in Ohio plans to return to On Patrol: Live, starting with the March 3rd episode. Toledo left the show at the end of November 2022.

Departments Leaving

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office will take a break from On Patrol: Live, starting with the February 24th episode. Spotsylvania is expected to return to the show after a brief break. A second department is expected to depart next week when Toledo returns, but it’s unknown which department will leave.

Spotsylvania Chase

Deputy Ray Pittman with the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office became a big hit with On Patrol Live fans after an almost 20-minute chase with a suspect. Many fans will be looking forward to seeing him back on the show.

Kenny Fitzsimmons Rescue

Another deputy being praised recently for his quick actions was Deputy Kenny Fitzsimmons with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. Fitzsimmons responded to a call of a man on a bridge. He acted with urgency and compassion and helped this young man.
