The Weld County Sheriff’s Office will join On Patrol: Live this weekend (10.13.23). Weld County is located in northeastern Colorado. The county seat is Greely, CO, which is located east of Ft. Collins.
Weld County is expected to replace the Nye County Sheriff’s Office. Nye County is a long-running department on the show and was also featured on Live PD.
“We are looking forward to allowing the public to see the great work that men and women of the Weld County Sheriff’s office do on a daily basis,” said Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams.
“On Patrol: Live” contacted Weld County officials for the deal, sheriff’s office spokesperson Melissa Chesmore said when asked about the engagement. She said there was no community input on the decision for the sheriff’s office to sign the contract, but “I think the positive comments on social media reflect the community’s enthusiasm WCSO will be appearing on the show.”
