Live PD Permanently Cancelled

Dan Abrams announced tonight that Live PD has been permanently canceled by A&E Networks. There may be more news to come, but it doesn’t look good for Live PD. Allegedly, both A&E Networks and Big Fish Entertainment came to the conclusion on Wednesday that there was no way for the show to continue in its current form as protesters and politicians are calling for police reform following the death of Floyd while restrained by a cop during an arrest.

If you are a fan, and want the show back on the air, sign our petition to show your support.

I can not believe they cancelled this show. You are going to hear lies never the truth. But I believe it is the protectors out there doing what they want to do. They need to go home.

i agree it would be a stupid decision to take live pd off the air…the public needs to see, now more than ever, how police are treating people of all races and colors…people above and below the poverty line…we need to make sure we are ALL being treated the same, with dignity and respect and whatever force the situation calls for…just imagine someone has a gun to your head and the police arrive…how would you like them to handle that situation?…do you really want them to be afraid to use any force whatsoever…to cower because they are afraid to face… Read more »

LivePD should remain cancelled. It helps desensitize citizens to the militarization of police. The majority have accepted this new reality because they are accustomed to seeing it. Furthermore it creates Voluntary Servants of us all, by way of individuals, and therefore groups, not challenging police officers abusing their authority. Fans of these shows are not interested in witnessing justice. Shows like this further emphasize the us vs them mentality instead of unity through proper procedure.

It is very disheartening that Live PD has been permanently cancelled. I understand not doing shows temporarily for the officers’ safety – I can only imagine a protester thinking it was a great idea to attack a LEO on live TV. But to cancel it permanently is a bad idea. If anything, this country needs to see real police officers in action and the disrespect, idiocy and just plain stupid people they deal with so well every day. This show has also offered me a chance to teach my children how to interact with the police should they ever be… Read more »

well now we are bowing down to the facts that if Live PD is cancelled, all we will be peachy again. Bullshit.. I cant believe that the top show of all is being cancelled because of a few rouge cops went too far. Why cant you show that cops are terrific and show their worth instead of putting them in the same category as the thugs that are causing all the trouble. I am really upset it is my favorite show. I am sorry that you are being bullied. sell it to another station and see what happens to your… Read more »

It’s just awful that “Live P.D.” was cancelled. It really made the police into people
that were there to help us. We miss it so much. Dan and Tom became our friends,
along with the cops from all over the country. What a shame!

Ok. You’re all upset because your show got canceled. Use that energy in a positive way and drop off a coffee card with your local Police Department. Write a note saying you appreciate their work at keeping you safe in the Real world. Cops are getting a bad rap and they are just out there trying to do their jobs. It’s not a easy one. Make a difference

We need Live PD back. I have stopped watching A&E due to this. Why cancel a show due to one bad apple which is also the government. I love seeing the human side of policing and the good they do. They run to danger so we can be safe. I looked forward to seeing the crew. A show that shows real emotion like an officer crying due to how someone lives. For me it showed me police do care something I didn’t believe until I watched the show. Please bring our show back as I won’t be watching the new… Read more »
