Hazen is a small city located in Prairie County, Arkansas, United States. The town was incorporated in 1891 and has a rich history, but it’s mostly known for its rural and agricultural surroundings. The population is relatively small, with less than a thousand people living in the area as of the 2010 census.
Geographically, Hazen is located in the flat lands of eastern Arkansas, which lends itself to agriculture, primarily the cultivation of rice and soybeans. The White River and Arkansas Post Canal are not far to the east, while the larger city of Little Rock lies about an hour’s drive to the west.
