Robeson County Sheriff’s Office

Robeson County is the largest county geographically in North Carolina. It is located south of Fayetteville, NC, and has a population of approximately 116,500 residents. The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office has about 300 employees, including sworn deputies, detention officers, and civilian staff. The Office is headquartered in Lumberton, the largest town in the county.

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is led by Sheriff Burnis Wilkins, who is a 40+ year sworn law enforcement Officer serving with city, county, state, and federal agencies.
