Deputy Dezmon Drayton is a member of the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office. His first appearance on Live PD was in Season 4 during Live PD – 11.16.19.
Deputy Drayton has a Bachelor of Arts college degree in Disaster and Emergency Management. He graduated Cum Laude with his degree. Deputy Drayton served in the U.S. Marine Corps prior to working in law enforcement. He enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corps in 2009 for active duty. Today, he is a U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Staff Sergeant.
Before joining the Berkely County Sheriff’s Office he was an officer with the City of Summerville Police Department in South Carolina. He joined the City of Summerville in 2012, and he has experience working Patrol and Traffic (Collision Reconstruction & DUI).
Deputy Drayton also works with the local Police Explorers organization to help kids learn about careers in law enforcement. He himself was a member of Police Explorers as a youth.
