Thomas Rizzo embarked on his journey in law enforcement in December 2001, starting as a Patrolman with the Middlesex Borough Police Department in New Jersey. His career progressed in 2004 when he joined the Howell Township Police Department in New Jersey, where he has risen to his current position as the Investigations Division Commander, holding the rank of Captain.
In his notable contributions, Thomas was instrumental in establishing the Howell Township Police Department’s inaugural Criminal Suppression Unit. His involvement has spanned various critical operations, including executing search warrants, collaborating with intra and inter-agency teams, and orchestrating the apprehension of distributors. Academically, Thomas is well-grounded with a B.S. in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida and an M.A. in Human Resource Training & Development from Seton Hall University.
