John Curley is a retired lieutenant with the Warwick Police Department in Rhode Island. Curley joined the Warwick Police Department in 2011 as a patrol officer. He earned the rank of lieutenant before retiring in 2022.
Before his career in law enforcement, Curley was a professional hockey player with the ECHL. Curley is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. He also earned a Masters Degree from Salve Regina University.
Curley was featured heavily with the Warwick Police Department during multiple Live PD seasons. He was featured as a Guest Host with On Patrol: Live in episodes 01.26.24 and 01.27.24.
Curley was asked about the most intense situation on Live PD.
I would have to say the DUI car chase. Car chases in general are very intense and then it ended in a foot pursuit, which is also intense.
With car chases, sometimes you can’t control whether or not it’s going to be terminated or end in a crash. But when there’s a foot chase, that’s between you and somebody else; may the best person win.
