Deputy Mark Laureano is a corporal with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department in South Carolina. Deputy Laureano has been with Richland County for eight years. He is a native of Chicago but served with the US Marine Corps, and then with the US Army. Finally, he settled in Columbia, South Carolina, where he joined the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputy Laureano was featured in-studio on the October 11th and October 12 episodes. He said one of his early inspirations for joining law enforcement was the ’70s TV show CHIPS.
