Deputy Brandon King is an officer with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.
In 2019, Deputy King was honored for his initiative and determination on the job. During the first quarter, he was the top performer in his district, with 33 arrests, which included 18 felonies and five DUIs. His work in the first quarter of 2019 resulted in seizures of more than 173 grams of marijuana, 4 grams of heroin, 2 grams of cocaine, and a firearm. Deputy King was praised for his positive attitude, strong relationships with fellow deputies, and frequently stepping up to work overtime shifts.
