Corporal Corinthian Green is a deputy with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina. Corporal Green is currently assigned to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Community Action Team in the Moncks Corner Area. He is also a member of the Berkeley/Charleston Alcohol Enforcement Team and the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Bike Patrol. Corporal Green has earned certifications as a South Carolina Basic Instructor, a South Carolina Gang Investigator, a North Carolina Advance Gang Investigator and an FBI Certified Crisis Negotiator.
Corporal Corinthian Green was born in Charleston, S.C., and grew up Moncks Corner. He later graduated from Berkeley High School in 2003. Afterward, he then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on July 06, 2003, and underwent recruit training at 2nd Recruit Training Battalion Hotel Company, Elite Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, SC, graduating as a Platoon Squad Leader. Green served his country in Okinawa, Japan and Iraq. He served in different areas from 2003 until 2012. In January of 2012, Green medically retired from duties. On February 4, Green began at the South Carolina Department of Correction as a Correctional officer and later graduated from SCDC Academy as Class Leader. In March of 2014, Green left the SCDC and began at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center (Berkeley County Detention Center). Cpl. Green graduated from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy as an Assistant Class Leader and later became a Field Training Officer for new jail Deputies because of his experience gained at SCDC. In November 2014, Cpl. Green became a Deputy Sheriff at the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office. In March 2015, Green graduate from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy as a quad Leader.
