Deputy John O’Shaughnessy is an officer with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department in South Carolina. O’Shaughnessy was featured in the premiere episode of On Patrol: Live in July 2022.
Deputy O’Shaughnessy is a graduate of the University of South Carolina. He started his career in 2018 with the Cayce Police Department. While serving with Cayce, he received the “Rookie of the Year” award as a first-year officer in December 2019 for police duty excellence. Later in 2019, he was named “Law Cadet of the Year” by the state of South Carolina.
