Corporal Ronnie Russell is a deputy with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina. Corporal Russell currently serves as part of the K9 Unit. Russell is a Berkeley County native who graduated from Goose Creek High School in 2010. He joined Berkely County in 2019. Corporal Russell has served with the patrol unit and the marine unit and is now a part of the K9 Unit. Russell was assigned to his partner K9 Prima in 2022. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, riding horses, and boating.
Corporal Russell has helped his late father catch alligators for over 20 years, and he still wrestles gators occasionally. He first appeared with On Patrol: Live during Episode 05.19.23.
