Deputy Brett Whitson is a Senior Deputy Sheriff with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office in Florida. Deputy Whitson is a native of Florida, growing up in the Port Orange part of Volusia County. He attended Seabreeze High School, and then entered the US Marine Corps. Whitson was a firefighter while serving in the Marines. In 2003, Whitson joined the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Whitson is a Full-Service K-9 Handler and Law Enforcement Recovery Diver. He was first featured in On Patrol: Live Season 1.
