Why are police departments and almost all law enforcement agencies around the United States STILL saying "under the influence of DRUGS or ALCOHOL??"

Alcohol is classified as a DRUG, by the CDC.

I know because I am 40 years sober and it irritates my very core to hear it being separated from DRUGS.

Because it's so dangerous, it should ALWAYS be spoken about as it is, a DRUG, it alters the mind and mood and is just as dangerous if not MORE than any other drug of choice out there.

Explain please??
